...and I helped!!!

Now, don't get too excited. I didn't do the cake itself. But I did put the flowers on, with some help. Anna, my boss, did the actual cake and finished it on Friday along with another cake, but she doesn't work on Saturdays so she asked me to do the flowers. Not a big thing, right? Right. See, the problem is I always seem to overthink things. I agonize over what looks good and what doesn't and what happens if the bride doesn't like it or if my boss doesn't like what I did or if I somehow screw up the cake itself....the list goes on and on. So Emily, my co-worker/boss, told me to just do it. So I had to stop thinking just stick the stupid flower in the cake. And I did. And with some help from Emily, it turned out pretty good. At some point, I hope to do wedding cakes myself, so watching Anna and doing little things every once-in-a-while can only help. In the past, I've made the cake for a wedding cake, not the decorating, but that will come soon enough. I'm looking into buying some equipment from a lady in my parents' ward, so I'm working on it.
